If it needs signal, a login or a calm mind to work, it doesn't work. Both apps are built for the moment they're needed, not the demo.

We ask for as little as possible

Household details and monitored identifiers stay on your device wherever the job allows. Collection is a cost, not an asset.

Neither app escalates worry to sell a tier. Bad news arrives as information with a next step, and nothing else attached.

Why checklists fail

The advice exists. It's generic, it's a PDF, and it assumes a household that isn't yours. So it gets skimmed once, half-done, and never revisited — and three years later the water has expired and nobody knows where the documents are.

Preparedness isn't a document. It's a state that decays and needs maintaining.

What Readinity does

Specific to your household

Built from where you live, the building you live in, and the people, pets and medications in it. The risks it plans for are the ones your address actually has.

Plans expire — we track it

Water, batteries, medication, insurance documents, emergency contacts: each carries a date, and you get told before it lapses rather than after.

Short, real drills

Ten minutes to find out whether the plan survives contact with your actual home — the torch that's missing, the neighbour nobody has a number for.

Works when nothing else does

Every plan is readable offline, on a dying battery, with no account and no network. That constraint comes first, not last.

Shared with the household

A plan one person knows about is half a plan. Everyone gets the same steps, the same meeting point, the same copy on their own phone.

Calm instructions, not a wall

When something is happening, Readinity shows the next action for your situation — one step at a time, in the order that matters.

Tells you when it happens

Continuous watch for your addresses, usernames, phone numbers and cards appearing where they shouldn't be.

Plain language, two actions

What leaked, what it actually puts at risk, and the next two things worth doing. No colour-coded threat theatre.

Matching on your device

Identifiers are checked locally against signed indexes. We don't hold a readable list of what you monitor — so we can't lose it.

Reuse mapped

One leaked password usually means several exposed accounts. Cyberinity shows the blast radius, ranked by what it would cost you.

Quiet by default

You hear from it when something is genuinely new about you. There's no engagement target to hit.

Covers the people you cover

Family members can be watched from one place, each with their own alerts and their own local data.

About Novel Approaches

Two worlds, one habit: knowing before it matters.

Novel Approaches is a small company building software for low-frequency, high-impact events. Readinity covers the physical world; Cyberinity covers the digital one. Both start from the same observation: people don't fail these moments because they lack willpower — they fail because nobody gave them a readable state and a next step.

Internally we call that idea human state regulation. It isn't a feature and we don't expect anyone to buy it. It's the standard we hold each product to: does this help someone see their situation clearly, and act on it, at the moment it counts?

Both apps are in development. Neither is downloadable. We'd rather say that plainly than run a countdown.

Small on purpose

No growth team, no outsourced support, no roadmap written for investors.

Paid for by people

The plan is subscriptions from users, not data from them. It's the only model compatible with the above.

Slow where it counts

Software people rely on during an emergency ships when it's right, not when the quarter ends.

Privacy

What we collect, in plain words.

This is a summary of our intent while both products are in development. A full policy ships with the first public build, and we'll publish it before asking anyone for data.

The waitlist

One email address, stored to write to you about these apps. Not shared, not sold, not used for advertising. One click removes it.

Readinity data

Your household plan — address, people, medications, documents — lives on your devices and syncs between them for you. It is not a dataset we mine.

Cyberinity data

Monitored identifiers are matched on device against indexes we distribute. We aim to hold no readable copy of what you watch, so a breach of us reveals nothing about you.

No third-party tracking

No advertising SDKs, no session recording, no analytics that identify a person. This site sets nothing beyond what it needs to work.

Cyberinity uses k-anonymity over prefix buckets with signed indexes — the same family of technique used for password checking, applied to every identifier type.

No analytics provider, no advertising network, no CDN that can read your traffic. This list changes only in the changelog.

If we shut down

Both apps keep working on your device with no server behind them — a property of local-first, not a promise.

  • Your plan exports as PDF and JSON, offline
  • Your watchlist exports as plain text
  • The last signed index stays usable, it simply stops refreshing
  • We publish a closing notice 60 days ahead and delete accounts on day one
